School IDs Explained

In Sukool, every registered school is issued a unique School ID. This ID is used by students to access your school's announcements and resources on our platform. Think of it as your school's digital address on Sukool.

School Type (First Part)

The first segment indicates the type of school:

  • PVT → Private School
  • GOVT → Government School
  • PUB → Public School

City Code (Middle Part)

The middle segment represents the city where your school is located:

  • GHK → Gahkuch
  • KRH → Karachi
  • LHR → Lahore
  • ISB → Islamabad

School Number (Last Part)

The final segment is a unique number assigned to your school within your city. This ensures every school has a distinct ID even if multiple schools are in the same city and category.

Public & Predictable

School IDs are public and predictable by design. There's no secret information—it's meant to be shared with students.

No Login Required

Students don't need accounts or passwords. Just the School ID to access your school's content.

How Students Use Your School ID

When students open the Sukool app or web platform for the first time, they'll be asked to enter their School ID. Once they enter it, they'll instantly see all announcements and resources from your school. It's that simple!
